Yá'át'ééh. I am a fashion & culture writer, content creator, and photographer based in Arizona. I am a member of the Diné Nation (Navajo) from Mariano Lake, New Mexico. A multi-faceted artist, I recently obtained my master's degree in fashion journalism from the Academy of Art University.
As a journalist, I aim to provide an indigenous perspective on fashion by highlighting and celebrating the ever-growing tapestry of Native fashion and indigenous storytelling. Take a look at my writing portfolio.
Since 2015, I having been working for Phoenix Fashion Week, first as their Social Media & Branding Leader, eventually working my way up to Director of Branding and Media during the Covid-19 quarantine. In my role, I create comprehensive visual and social media content that preserves and promotes the company's brand identity across all platforms. Furthermore, I assist with all production operations and event planning, in front-of-house and behind the runway including fashion styling.
I specialize in fashion-focused content including event planning + management, writing, social media, graphic design, photography, styling, branding and digital marketing. I am always looking to collaborate, so follow me on social media and let's connect!
