Yá'át'ééh. I am a fashion writer, content creator, and photographer based in Arizona. I am a member of the Diné Nation (Navajo) from Mariano Lake, New Mexico. A multi-faceted artist, I recently obtained my master's degree in fashion journalism from the Academy of Art University.
As a journalist, I aim to provide an indigenous perspective on fashion by highlighting and celebrating the ever-growing tapestry of Native fashion and indigenous storytelling. Take a look at my writing portfolio.
From 2015-2021, I worked for Phoenix Fashion Week, first as their Social Media & Branding Leader, eventually working my way up to Director of Multimedia during the Covid-19 quarantine. Over the years, my role was to create comprehensive visual and social media content that preserved and promoted the company's brand across all platforms. Furthermore, I learned how to put on fashion shows, both in-person and virtually, from beginning to end; front-of-house to behind the runway.
I specialize in fashion-focused content which includes event planning + management, writing, social media, graphic design, photography, styling, branding and digital marketing. I am always looking to collaborate, so follow me on social media and let's connect!
